Good Running Events looks forward to welcoming thousands of runners of all abilities and ages back to the Norfolk Showground, for the Larking Gowen Norwich Half Marathon.
Taking place on Sunday 4th April 2027 and organised by Good Running Events, the Larking Gowen Norwich Half Marathon has long been a major event in the East Anglian running calendar.
With a start and finish based within the Norfolk Showground site, and a super scenic route along closed roads through the countryside in the Heart of Norfolk, do not miss the return of this iconic event.

Finisher Rewards

All runners receive a bespoke medal, with chip timing in place and trophies awarded to the top three men and women, plus age category winners.

Closed-Road Scenic Route

Enjoy a stunning countryside course starting and finishing at Norfolk Showground, fully closed to traffic and clearly marshalled for safety.

Open to runners aged 17+, the race welcomes participants of all abilities, offering an exciting challenge in a supportive environment.

Race Day Information

What to expect on the day

A bespoke medal will be available to all runners. Chip Timing is in operation on the Half Marathon. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female runners, and first male and female in each age category.

The race will start and finish at Norfolk Showground, and the event features roads that are fully closed for the purpose of the event. The course will be marshalled and clearly signposted. Unfortunately no pets, wheelchairs or prams are able to be used within the race.
The Event Village will be open from 8:00am. Further details regarding race packs will be made available nearer the event. Entries are non-refundable but deferrals and transfers to another runner are available until midnight on 21/03/2027
